Bombshells, guns, tanks and mines,
They shoot at us, we pay the fines.
They use bombs, they're called smart,
Funnily enough, they blow us apart.

Lives destroyed here and there
It's not a question of being fair.
Hatred, selfishness, greed, the lot,
Love is something we have forgot.

Fighter planes sore through the sky,
They can't hear the children and babies' cries.
Is it money? Is it power?
Has everyone's hearts gone sour?

They talk about so-called peace deals,
We eat the dirt, they eat the good meals.
We talk about peace and harmony
But we're not willing to give a fleece.

The tears that have fallen from people's faces
Have come from so many different places.
Lives shattered, torn away,
But everyone's too scared to say

Cluster bombs are meant to kill more,
This isn't what people are looking for.
Maybe if we were to reunite
Peace may come in sight.

But time has passed and bloodshed has been shown
It looks like everyone's alone
So war, destruction, and murder will go on
Until people take their lives into their own.
